If you’ve never remodeled before, it may be hard to know how much it might cost.  Below, we have shared the cost ranges of our clients’ projects.  We hope this will help you get a sense of the range for each type of project.  Of course, every project is unique.  Therefore, your estimate will vary.  Factors that affect costing include changes or addition of: square footage, plumbing, electrical, the age of your home, the craftmanship or state of the current build, and the finishes and trims you select (appliances, windows, flooring, etc.)  We have found that when our clients sign an estimate and stick to their plan as described in the estimate, that they are often within 10% of the original estimated cost.  When changes are made to the plan after the estimate has been signed, then the overage on the estimate due to change orders can be as much as 20%.  Please keep this information in mind while building your remodel budget.
